You are invited to participate in the International Workshop on Thermo-electrochemical Devices 2026, which will take place online free of charge on the 14th and 15th of December 2026. This is the main event completely devoted to thermo-electrochemical systems, such as thermo-electrochemical cells (thermocells, thermogalvanic cells), ionic thermoelectric supercapacitors, thermally regenerative electrochemical cycles, and similar systems combining electrochemical phenomena with thermal processes. At the workshop, you will have the opportunity to disseminate your work, and also meet the participants and have scientific discussions through breakout rooms.

This is the third edition of IWTED, and the 1st one completely online. Previously, the workshop was organised every two years, being in December 2025 the last edition in Tokyo. In order to have more continuity, this online workshop has been organised, and also with the aim to reach a wider participation making it free and online. The main workshop organisers are the Thermal and Electrical Systems Laboratory from the Universitat Jaume I (Castelló de la Plana, Spain), the Aldous group from the National Taiwan University (Taipei, Taiwan), and Weishu Liu’s Group from the Southern University of Science and Technology (Shenzen, China)
